This blog is brought to you by Ferrand Triple K Farms, one of the largest Minature horse farms in the mid-west. We are located in Greencastle Indiana.
On our farm we have up to four generations of mares and babies, and all with an eye towards color that is outstanding. Our breeding has gone all over the USA and Canada and we have been breeding for 20 years. Really great beginnings. This blog is meant to help educate clients and help future clients decide if a miniature horse is right for them.

Are Mini horses being nice if they nibble (chow) on each others mane?
Yes. They are fine. Just like us they get itchy under all that main hair (in most cases common horse lice) and they are just itching each other when where they normally can't reach.
